About.
Sotaeria is an Australian start-up formed to commercialise our customer driven, safety focused, web enabled solutions.Our focus is always on delivering safer, more efficient processes through use of advanced technologies, advanced ergonomics and clever engineering.
Our Vision.
Too often there is a perceived tension between making a task safe and doing it efficiently.
Our view is that Safety and Efficiency are compatible. In the work we do we have shown how we can significantly improve process output and improve safety together.
Many injuries result from pressure to do a badly designed job too quickly. Poorly designed work is often dangerous. It also frequently leads to rushing and speed ups to try and get around problems inherent in the process.
We don't agree that this to be the case.
Products such as Safelash reduce injuries, reduce effort needed and are much quicker and easier to do use. The best of both worlds.

Our work is developed at the coal face, we spend a lot of time in listening to the users, understanding their issues, testing out prototypes and responding to the feedback.
We use a the latest technologies to ensure our solutions embody the latest thinking. We collaborate with everyone from the ICT specialists at CSIRO Data61, consultant engineers and operations managers to stevedores, on the job, in far flung harbours around the world.
